The Department of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine invites applications and nominations for Clinical and Clinical Research Faculty in the Division of General Medical Sciences.

Faculty in the Division perform research in the broad areas of clinical epidemiology, health services, population health, research ethics, administrative data analysis, health decision-making, medical informatics, and health behaviors. Much of this research is conducted in collaboration with community partners, and faculty outside the Division.

Successful candidates will have training in health services research, decision sciences, epidemiology, research ethics, informatics, or other areas relevant to our broad research mission. Washington University is expanding its programs in health services and outcomes research, as well as in public health, presenting opportunities for researchers who can take advantage of existing institutional strengths.

We are seeking outstanding senior or mid-career investigators with established records of funding and impactful publications.

Faculty members' primary responsibility will be to conduct research supported by extramural grant funding with the remaining effort spent conducting independent research and other activities (teaching, mentorship, and/or clinical care) at Washington University and Barnes Jewish Hospital.

Qualified candidates should hold an MD, MD/PhD, PhD, DO or equivalent degree and should be at the midcareer level.

Applicants to this announcement must have a strong record of funding for their research programs in addition to an exemplary publication record.
