Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for performing project-related mouse experiments designed to understand the role of immune cells in cancer progression and metastasis. The techniques to perform include, but are not limited to, animal surgery and husbandry, tumor monitoring and in vivo bioluminescence, histopathological evaluations, cell culture, and flow cytometrical analysis, cell isolation, RNA and protein extraction, qPCR and western blotting and provide assistance with general organizational activities of the laboratory.

Required Education and Experience:

-Extensive animal handling experience, including surgery and health monitoring, is absolutely required for this position. Basic training in sterile tissue culture and histological techniques are highly desired, but not essential.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience working in a medical science research laboratory with a minimum of B.S in a biological field, highly preferred.

This is a restricted position with no set end date and continued employment is dependent upon project need, availability of funding, and performance.
