Librarian

Village of Fairmont Nebraska is accepting applications for a full-time Librarian. Fairmont is a smaller community with a population of about 600 people located south of York Nebraska. Our library is dedicated to lifelong learning and the enrichment of our community by providing a recreational, informational items.  The Library will strive to be the cornerstone of the community, preserving traditional services while aiming toward state of the art technology.

A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Pre drug screening, employment physical and background check required.  Interested individual must be a self-starter, attentive to detail, able to multi-task, excellent oral and written communication skills, be flexible in job duties and work schedules, computer skills are essential and to be able to Complete the Basic Skills Class for Public Librarian Certification.

Salary is based on experience.  The Village of Fairmont offers an excellent benefits package.
