CASE MANAGER

The Case Manager will report to the Assistant Director for Institutional Equity and Compliance/Title IX Coordinator. The Case Manager’s primary responsibility is to oversee intake and case management of reports of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation submitted to the Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (IEC). The Case Manager will be responsible for assessing incoming reports for safety concerns, policy applicability, and jurisdiction; managing initial outreach to parties and conducting intake meetings; serving as the point of contact and information resource for parties involved in IEC processes; evaluating options and recommending supportive measures; coordinating referrals to campus partners to implement supportive measures for parties; documenting and ensuring timeliness of outreach, intake, and supportive measures; maintaining, organizing, and closing case files; consulting with the Title IX Coordinator to assign complaints to Civil Rights Investigators; recommending action steps to Civil Rights Investigators; completing initial risk assessments and referrals for emergency removal; managing Clery Act reporting responsibilities; assisting with miscellaneous reporting requirements and case data analysis; facilitating hearings to resolve complaints; and completing other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and one year of related experience; equivalent combination of education/experience considered. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
