Post Doctoral Associate (Lindhiem)

The core responsibilities of the position will be to perform data analyses and assist with manuscript preparation. Additional responsibilities will be to create and manage a database (e.g., Redcap) and system requirements to support the functionality of online assessments, and other tasks requested by Dr. Lindhiem and/or the Project Director. Perform in accordance with system-wide competencies and behaviors.

Qualifications:

This position calls for an PhD degree in psychology, or related field. The candidate should have previous experience in online data collection, data management, and data analysis. In addition, the candidate should have an interest in intervention research, mHealth, clinical trials, parent management training, and/or childhood disruptive behavior disorders.

The candidate should also be highly motivated and function effectively in both team and independent settings. The candidate should have excellent organizational skills, critical thinking/analytical skills, the ability to make independent decisions, and excellent communication skills.

In addition, the candidate should have the ability to perform data-analysis using a variety of statistical software programs (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS), have strong writing skills, and the ability to convey research-related concepts in grants and publications. Dissemination of research findings at national research meetings, and through writing manuscripts for publications, will be expected.
