Job Description

This is a summer internship position with the department of Missouri Institute for Defense and Energy. The duties include the following:
  1. Design, build, and test innovative software solutions that meet leadership-provided requirements.
  2. Develop and tune document parsing engine intended to prepare textual and image data for Large Language Model training.
  3. Assist A.I. researchers with model testing and benchmarking.
  4. Prepare monthly status reports and final reports for dissemination to contract sponsor through team leadership.
Qualifications
  • Currently in an Undergraduate program in one of or similar to the following degree paths.
  • Minimum GPA 3.0
  • Currently in third or fourth year of 4-year program.
  • Able to obtain secret level DOD security clearance.
Anticipated Hiring Range

Pay Rate is $15/hr
