Job Summary

This position will perform analyses of environmental samples for disease-related biomarkers of interest. This position will be responsible for developing biomarker extraction and quantitation assays and will lead development of an on-site sample analysis device for detecting SARS-CoV-2 and emerging pathogens from environmental samples. Candidates must be enthusiastic about learning, applying, and developing new scientific protocols and working within a highly multidisciplinary team. Experience with product development and technology transfer will be viewed favorably. Must be enthusiastic about solving challenges associated with global health. Will also be responsible for design of experiments, data analysis, mentoring junior staff, and lab maintenance.
