Job Summary
The APP Orthopedic Surgical First Assistant ( APP) works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team and functions as a member of the Orthopedic Hand/Upper Extremity Service.
This requires management of all aspects of patients from admission to discharge. The APP will have a dynamic schedule in all care settings: both supporting and independent clinics, assisting in the operating room and managing consults on the inpatient setting. The APP has a strong foundation in evidenced based practice and education and ensuring an environment of safe quality care.
