Sport Psychology Consultant - Part-Time
Position Summary: Sport Psychology Consultant will be responsible for enhancing individual athlete performance and educating athlete's through various mental skills. This individual needs to have interpersonal and professional skills to work with a multitude of clients both individually and in groups. This is a unique opportunity to work with an established sport psychology organization that predominantly works with athletes and the flexibility to work only in the afternoon/evening hours (after 5 PM ET).
Position Responsibilities:
- Working with individual athletes from a variety of ages, levels, and sports.
- Advising parents on individual athlete progress and helping their role throughout the working relationship.
- Conducting online team/group mental training sessions
- Engaging in bi-weekly company meetings, training, & mentoring sessions
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and business ethic codes.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum requirement of Master's Degree in Sport Psychology or related field.
- Desire to help athletes & athlete members improve performance & well-being.
- Experience in mental toughness coaching & or sports coaching.
- Former high-level athlete, collegiate level, or higher.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to help provide added value to SPMI procedures and delivery
- Must be available to work Monday thru Friday.
- Must maintain availability to work with clients from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM (Eastern Time
- Experience working with Zoom & Keynote
- Desire to continue to learn and improve your professional development.
- Live on the East coast or Midwest part of U.S. (Eastern & Central Time ONLY)

This part-time opportunity may provide flexibility in your daily work schedule to plan athlete sessions after your full-time working hours are finished. We are looking for help with athletes in the late weekday afternoons and evenings (after 5 PM ET).
