Position Summary
Responsible for technical support of end-user hardware and software in the Shared Services Network including escalation support for Help Desk personnel. Provides desktop and mobile operating system and software installation, configuration and repair, and on-site customer visits. Provides end user computing equipment installation and relocation and network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other Information Technology related field and two year’s relevant software, hardware, Industrial Control Systems (PLC controls), Audiovisual technologies (AV), or Desktop support experience ; OR Associates degree in Computer Science or other Information Technology related field and four years relevant software, hardware, Industrial Control Systems (PLC controls), Audiovisual technologies (AV), or Desktop support experience; OR high school diploma or equivalent and six years relevant software, hardware, Industrial Control Systems (PLC controls), Audiovisual technologies (AV), or Desktop support experience is required. Must have strong computer-based data management and analysis skills. Must possess strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently. Must have knowledge of common Operating Systems such as Windows 7 and Windows 10. Must have knowledge and experience in client configurations in a Local Area network environment. Must have knowledge and experience using MS-Office Professional including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Must have valid driver’s license for state of residency and be insurable under the Growth Fund’s vehicle insurance policy. Must pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal history background check. Must be willing to assist others, learn new skills, and participate in a productive team oriented environment. Must Qualify for Southern Ute Gaming Support License, Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check and certification, Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification and any other licenses or certifications required or requested by Southern Ute Shared Services.
