Marketing Specialist (Scientific)
Job Summary:
Marketing Specialist will join a team of scientists and technologists working to address needs in such cutting-edge technologies as Next-Generation Sequencing, drug discovery and single cell encapsulation and manipulation. The job location is in Beverly, in an easy-to-access major center right off route 95/128, amongst a well-established and vibrant NorthShore biotech ecosystem. The ideal candidate has an academic degree/certificate or work experience in a scientific field. The Scientific Marketing Specialist will identify new opportunities and execute go-to-market strategies, develop product messaging, create contents and campaigns for client engagement and promote new scientific and advanced technological products and services.
Duties:
- Develop messages and contents around RAN Biotech's products in target markets
- Establish and optimize programs to generate clients
- Continuously gather data for potential new markets and leads
- Maintain a synergistic relationship with sales to monitor cycles of and optimize conversion to sales
- Utilize programs to monitor and advance market opportunities and projects
- Contribute to and participate in exhibits, conferences and events, virtual and in-person
- Constantly gather feedback and testimonials from users and present them to the internal team
- Maintain a deep and accurate knowledge of RAN Biotech's products and services
- Maintain the highest professional standards in the work environment, including all interactions with prospective and existing clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with strong preference in physical or life sciences
- 2+ years of experience in scientific marketing
- Excellent communication skills to translate qualities and benefits of scientific products into compelling marketing contents
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn about and understand new technologies and products
- Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple projects to meet deadline
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Work independently as well as in a team
- Proven track record of successfully taking new products to market
