Job Title    Director–Field Experiences/Certification Officer


Nature of Work    
Administers and oversees all practicum and student teaching field experiences for teacher education candidates, based on the established policies and procedures.  This includes arranging initial placements for candidates, overseeing completion of field experience requirements, addressing issues/concerns related to field experiences, and collecting/analyzing both formative and summative evaluations and related data.  This individual also administers and oversees all certification and recertification processes and procedures for teacher education candidates, including the preparation and submission of related documentation to the Nebraska Department of Education. This is a highly visible role overseeing projects and processes that have a significant impact on the School of Education. 

Required Qualifications    
Master’s degree
Preferred Qualifications    
A working knowledge of Nebraska Teacher Certification and procedures for the requirements of an accredited teacher education program is strongly preferred.

Salary Information    $61,746 - $65,000 DOE/Q
