Assistant Director Residence Life

Salary: $37,930 + housing; Live on campus required. 

Nature of Work: The Assistant Director of Residence Life (ADRL) is committed to a College-wide vision of essential engagement and will work to provide activities and programs that support students, enhance student success, and the student experience. The ADRL plays an integral role in the development of students, and in such role sets the tone for a significant portion of the student experience outside the classroom. This position is responsible for student leadership development with clubs and organizations; including assistance in the oversight of the Campus Activities Board and in supervision of residence halls. Develop and administer Club Sports; fiscal management, risk management, and training. Supervise Intramural Sports; grow the program with student engagement, oversee student official training and provide on-site supervision. Maintain The Hub app, the campus engagement software. The ADRL collaborates with other departments on campus to plan beneficial programs for students. Oversee and maintain the campus room reservation system. Facilitate community development that enhances student success and growth. Participate in an on-call emergency duty rotation throughout the year (evenings and weekends). This is a required live-in position and the ADRL will reside in an assigned residence hall. As part of the live-in duties, the ADRL partners with Residence Life to support resident assistants and residents. This position is covered by the NSCPA negotiated agreement and is exempt with regard to FLSA overtime provisions.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required or related work experience.
