Job Description
This Academic Program Coordinator Intermediate position will assist with the creation, maintenance and coordination of one or more academic programs within the NAU School of Nursing to meet specific goals. This role will be responsible for the implementation of policies and practices, while assisting in conducting oversight, review, and analysis of the effectiveness and compliance of the program(s). The person in this role will be responsible for statewide accelerated program admissions.
Programmatic Administrative Support - 40%
- Maintains records of program participants and program data, which may include inputting or updating data in a database.
- Acts as main point of contact for programmatic communications from participants and other stakeholders or constituents, including telephone and email communications, responding to questions regarding the program.
- Distributes, collects, and processes forms and documents related to the program(s).
- Researches, summarizes, and analyzes information regarding program participation; calculates statistics and compiles data to prepare special and/or recurring reports.
- May be responsible for event coordination in relation to program(s).
- May schedule and participate in meetings or committees on behalf of the program(s).
- Responsible for sharing telephonic program inquiries with peers as needed.
Program Support - 25%
- Assists in the development of program content; monitors program metrics and performance and maintains operations of the program.
- Acts as a liaison for program participants, other program stakeholders or constituents, current students, staff or faculty.
- Delivers to potential students and clinical partners presentations to communicate information about the program(s), including information sessions.
- Trains and advises others on program guidelines and details.
Supervision - 10%
- May supervise or oversee student or temporary employees.
- Assist with training and provides feedback for performance.
- May approve hours and timesheets for payroll on a biweekly basis.
Financial/Budgetary Oversight - 10%
- In conjunction with Assistant Director for Accelerated Programs contributes to the creation of the program budget and monitors budget for program expenditures.
- Responsible for advising department leadership on discrepancies with expenditures.
Compliance - 5%
- Ensures program compliance with all applicable university, state, federal, or other laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Alerts leadership if compliance concerns or issues arise.
Other - 5%
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a health-related science or related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- A combination of related education, experience, and training may be used as an equivalent to the above Minimum Requirements.

Salary
Salary range begins at $41,421. Annual salary commensurate with candidate's qualifications and related experience.
FLSA Status
This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and therefore will not earn overtime or compensatory time for additional time worked.
