If you have passion for sales and developing strategic business solutions for clients in the community, this may be the right job for you! In this role, you can truly match a client's need to the right product or package of products to drive their business results. You will be able to leverage strong data-driven recommendations to present best-in-class advertising solutions to help clients reach their goals.The successful candidate will have a strong focus on new business development and grow revenue through a consultative selling approach. The ideal candidate will:
  • Understand that business development is about connecting people to ideas, and ideas to results
  • Understands that leadership is about action, not titles
  • Have knowledge of digital advertising products, dedication to customer service, and demonstrate stellar presentation skills with the ability to sell and/or upsell at all decision making levels
  • Be able to identify new business opportunities, listen intently to understand client needs, and conduct deep dive client assessments to provide customized solutions
  • Possess a results oriented mindset, problem solving skills, analytical skills, attention to detail and critical thinking ability
  • Collaborate and communicate well with others in a synergistic work environment
  • Be flexible to work autonomously or be a dream team player when necessary
  • Be able to demonstrate past sales success and understanding of the sales process
  • Juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines
  • Have self-discipline and ambition to succeed
  • Demonstrate ability to meet performance benchmarks
A degree in a related field or equitable level of experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates with media sales or alternative business development is preferred.
