Job Summary

Provides operational support to the Student Food Pantries. Coordinates learning opportunity for Alternative Breaks and Volunteer Engagement. This position is primarily based at BBC and will be required to travel to MMC.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of programs and services for the Center for Leadership & Service and the Student Food Pantry.
  • Oversees daily Student Food Pantry operations, including daily food display, inventory tracking, ordering, and deliveries for both MMC and BBC locations as directed. Coordinates product ordering by working with the CLS staff and local partners to manage pantry ordering logistics.
  • Oversees student staff and Student Food Pantry during hours of operation. The person in this role will step in to cover the pantry in the absence of student staff.
  • Coordinates various Food Pantry projects including adopt a month, food drive donations, social media, marketing, etc.
  • Coordinates product ordering by working with the CLS staff and local partners to manage pantry ordering logistics.
  • Co-advises the Alternative Breaks program by serving as a dual campus advisor to the student leadership and participants. Provides leadership development, risk management assessment, and budget campus wide.
  • Serves as a dual Procard user for departmental transactions. Assures compliance and adherence to University credit card policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of office or related experience.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience developing and implementing leadership and/or community engagement programs.
  • Experience working with college students.
