Full-time position available on or after June 17, 2024 for Financial Aid.
Under general direction by the Financial Aid Assistant Director, the Financial Aid Advisor will provide essential support and guidance to current and prospective students and their families seeking financial assistance for their education. The Financial Aid Advisor plays a pivotal role in the administration of financial aid programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations. Through comprehensive needs analysis, application processing, and advising, this role aims to facilitate access to financial aid resources, promote financial literacy, and enhance students' understanding of available financial aid programs. By maintaining accurate records, participating in outreach efforts, and collaborating with other university departments, the Financial Aid Advisor contributes to the overall success of students on their educational journeys. Additionally, this position involves assisting in the development and implementation of campus policies and procedures in alignment with federal and state guidelines to ensure equitable and efficient financial aid distribution.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in one of the behavioral sciences, public or business administration or a job‑related field. (Additional specialized experience during which the applicant has acquired and successfully applied the knowledge and abilities may be substituted for the required education on a year‑for‑year basis.)
Experience: Equivalent of two years of professional experience in one of the student services program areas or in a related field; experience should give evidence of competence and indicate the potential for further growth. (A master's degree in a job‑related field may be substituted for one year of the professional experience.)

Salary Range
Anticipated salary will be $4,610 - $5,071 per month plus excellent paid benefits. Salary will depend on the qualifications of the successful finalist. (Full Student Service Professional II range: $4,610 - $6,556 per month)
